Minister
MINISTER - Zanin Vejzović (SDP)
was born on 1 August 1973 in Mostar. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar, and his Master of Science and Doctor of Science degree from the Faculty of Information Technology, Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar. He works as an associate professor at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. He has published a number of scientific papers.
Minister
The work of the Ministry is managed by the Minister, who is appointed and dismissed in accordance with the law. The Minister decides on all important issues within the scope of the Ministry. All acts within the competence of the Ministry are signed by the Minister. The Minister may, by special decision, authorize other civil servants to sign certain individual acts. The Minister, in accordance with the law, represents and acts on behalf of the Ministry, and manages its work, in particular:
implements the decisions and conclusions of the Cantonal Government,
passes implementing regulations when authorized to do so by law or other regulation,
proposes to the government drafts and proposals for regulations from the scope of the Ministry,
takes care of the lawful and timely implementation of laws and other regulations, as well as issues of common interest,
ensures cooperation of the Ministry with other government bodies, with holders of executive power in local self-government units and legal entities that have public authority to implement cantonal regulations, and with other legal entities,
takes measures against civil servants and employees as determined by law and other regulations in the event of a breach of official duty.
The Minister shall also undertake other actions in carrying out obligations and exercise powers established by a special law and other regulation.
