The Entrepreneurship and Crafts Sector performs study-analytical, professional-operational and information-documentation tasks related to:
monitoring and reviewing the situation in the field of entrepreneurship and crafts, develops and proposes measures for their development; proposes encouraging measures for a more even spatial distribution of small enterprises in accordance with the adopted regional development policy; participates in economic restructuring activities with other competent authorities; encourages the organized appearance of small enterprises and shops and provides them with assistance in business relations with large enterprises; monitors and processes important business data on small enterprises and shops in the Canton, and trends in the development of entrepreneurship in the Federation, Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond; proposes and develops assistance programs and their implementation carriers for small enterprises and shops to solve economic, organizational and technological problems; proposes sources and methods of financing various programs intended to solve the problem of lending to small enterprises and shops; participates in the implementation of the policy of financing the development of entrepreneurship by international, financial and other institutions; monitors the area of vocational education of entrepreneurs and proposes appropriate measures for improving the system of supplementary education of owners of crafts and small enterprises; proposes measures for the development of crafts, works on improving mutual cooperation between craftsmen; develops incentive measures for faster development of crafts; prepares reports on the situation in the field of crafts; proposes sources and methods of financing various programs intended to solve the problem of lending to craftsmen; carries out tasks prescribed by law and other by-laws in the field of public-private partnership; carries out tasks related to the implementation of the Law on the State Aid System in Bosnia and Herzegovina; in cooperation with other organizational units of the Ministry, participates in the preparation of preliminary drafts, drafts and proposals of laws, other regulations and general acts in the field of entrepreneurship and crafts, provides expert explanations regarding the implementation of laws and other regulations in the field of crafts; carries out other tasks within its scope in accordance with the law and other regulations.
