The Chief Cantonal Inspector manages the Inspectorate, directly carries out inspection supervision, plans, coordinates and directly organizes the performance of direct inspection supervision in the field and, in the performance of these tasks, decides on issues for which he is authorized by law. He ensures the timely, legal and proper performance of all tasks within the competence of the Inspectorate, establishes cooperation with the competent city and municipal inspectors regarding issues of common interest for carrying out inspections and provides them with the necessary professional assistance. He also coordinates the work of the Inspectorate with the relevant sectors.
